I've FINALLY gotten a start on my Headmaster! I've been staring at the same pile of possible donor parts for a month now, and it finally gelled. I'm really glad that I'm going to be in this one. I've missed the last few.

I know you can find the challenge entries in the Artist Galleries section, but shouldn't there be a link to it on the main page? I may not be the brightest bulb, but if I had trouble finding the contest pictures then others will too. Also, who picked yellow text for the most recent post? Man that looks bad with the white theme ;)

Tom Servo I've FINALLY gotten a start on my Headmaster! I've been staring at the same pile of possible donor parts for a month now, and it finally gelled. I'm really glad that I'm going to be in this one. I've missed the last few. That makes two of us. Just finally started getting to work on mine this weekend after staring at it for who knows how long... bleah. Going well so far, at least. :) - Alty

woot! Got some major body work done on my Transtector. I just need some styrene strips to make a part and i can finish the last of it. I have giant styrene panels, but since i need strips i figure it's better to get precut, perfectly straight strips than trying to do it myself. Then again... i do have a ruler.... i dunno.

Got my base bot today and managed to spend a couple of hours this evening painting the bulk up, which shouldn't need much if any alterations :) Still trying to decide how to attack the head :/

Mine's coming along, in that all the detail and mechanics are done, pretty much... but unfortunately most of the body work is the same colour.. and it's being a royal pain going on evenly.. -_-!! 16 days to go gentlemen!! I really hope you can all get your entries finished in time, it would be a shame for you guys to miss out!! :\

I found the head was the eaisest and the least amount of work. Which was the exact opposite of how I felt going into the build.

I think a lot of us are having a pretty varied experience with this one racer.. which I personally think is kinda cool, as no doubt once the contest is over and we know who did what, we'll be able to share all that experience. The hardest part for me so far has definitely been the paint. The body took all of 10 mins to modify, the head about 2 days to build.. but I'm trying to pull out all the stops with this paint job!! I'm trying to keep it to only a couple hours work per night, to save myself from getting sloppy.. and to save frustration! lol. I really cant wait to see everyone's work though! :D

I've cut myself a few times already, I can definately say I've put my life blood into this project... Sadly I accidentally screwed up and got super glue in the joints of my headmaster and completely f**ked it up. Hopefully I can find something else to use in time... and Alti - I totally get the frustrating thing about not sharing progress...
