Custom Classics Cliffjumper Head

This head is a two-piece sculpt that I made some time ago. I wanted it to look as close to the Sunbow Cliffjumper artwork as possible while at the same time giving his helmet more of a Samurai look as had been originally intended. The end result is what you see here. The head is a two-piece sculpt that fits snuggly together. It still requires the clear eye-piece and screw from the factory Cliffjumper head so that wasn't a problem. The only thing I had to do was paint the silver face. However, because I'm somewhat of a perfectionist I wanted the red to be an exact match so I opted to paint the entire head. In the end, I was very happy with the end result because it looks factory made and fits in well with all of my other factory Transformers.

Got my CJ from Valkfan today.. And Man it's awesome! I'm not even 100% done with him, I want to add some panel lines to make it pop even better. But making it good was so easy! A little silver paint, and then a quick brushing with some bright red (to better match CJ's molded plastic) and you're just about done. After that was done I just cracked my existing CJ head open pulled out the eye piece, stuffed it in and done! Here's some pics of my end result, and I'm a crappy painter! I'm not sure why picture 1 shows a funky shadow on his face though.. It's not a paint issue as the other pictures show that.. :)
